Relaxing Tuesday

March 3 Tuesday

Today is the type of day that Merl called his "cook the books" day.  After studying, he transferred his finance files from his Nexis back to my computer - requiring a lot of reformatting.  It took most of the morning.

While Merl was working on the computer, David and Ann went to the grocery store to pick up some needed items.

I spent much of my time today researching options for hotels and airlines to go to Florinopolis before we go home.  Florinopolis was one of our favorite cities that we visited on our Brazilian tour two  years ago.  The ocean has been calling me ever since we arrived in November, and this will be our last chance to actually get to a beach. Hopefully the weather will be as kind to us as before; and maybe I will even find my favorite swimming suit in the lost and found.  What are the chances?

Ann continued to work on her bobbin lace - actually completing two bookmarks.  One will go to Sister Wright tomorrow when David and Ann go to Porto Allegre to the Missionary Zone Conference.

I didn't leave the house until it was time to go to piano lessons in the evening; Larissa was the only one who came to lessons.  We are encouraging her to complete the beginning lesson book before we leave.  She would be able to help the other students progress after we go home.  I feel like we will be abandoning so many young people as there are no adults here to continue their piano studies.  A couple of young men in SF de Paula may progress enough to help the younger ones - they just need to stay a lesson ahead.

David had evening meetings with the Branch, but Merl arrived for his Branch meetings and found that they were cancelled since Pres. Marcos was working in Porto Alegre.  David, Ann, and I walked home together.  Ann went to bed; and when David returned from his meetings, we finished the box of ice cream in the freezer.  Then it was time for bed.
